Istanbul - Turkey's unemployment rate has risen to 10.1% in August, up from 9.8% the previous month, government agency Turkstat reported Monday.
The jobless levels were the highest in six months and come as the country is facing slowing growth.
Economic expansion slowed to 2.1% in the second-quarter, down from 4.7% in the previous three-month period.
The country holds general elections in 2015.
