Johannesburg - The proposed tariffs for e-tolling have been published in the Government Gazette and the public has 30 days to comment, the transport department said on Wednesday.
"We encourage the public to participate in this process to ensure that their views are taken on board," spokesperson Tiyani Rikhotso said in a statement.
"The minister of transport will consider the input before making a final determination on the tariffs that motorists will pay on the tolled road network."
Earlier on Wednesday, the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein dismissed the latest challenge by the Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance to e-tolling of Gauteng's freeways.
The department published information in the gazette relating to the implementation of e-tolling.
The four sets of regulations were on the conditions of tolling, exemption from tolling, e-toll road signage, and e-toll specifications.
The Transport Laws and Related Matters Amendment Act was published late September in the Government Gazette.
President Jacob Zuma signed the controversial bill into law on 21 September.
