Stage 1 load shedding to begin

Cape Town - Eskom announced on Sunday that stage 1 load shedding will be implemented due to a loss of generating units.

"We regret to announce that stage 1 load shedding will be implemented from 16:00 to 22:00 tonight," Eskom said in a media alert post on Facebook.

"We have unfortunately lost more generating units thus leading to a need to implement stage 1 load shedding," Eskom said in a statement.
