Johannesburg - Growth in credit demand from South Africa's private sector slowed to 6.14% year-on-year in December from 6.98 percent in November, data from the Reserve Bank showed on Thursday.
Expansion in the broadly defined M3 measure of money supply also braked to 6.15% from 6.3% the previous month.
