Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuma on Thursday appointed Business Unity SA chief executive Nomaxabiso Majokweni and National Youth Development Agency chairperson Yershen Pillay to the broad-based black economic empowerment advisory council.
They were appointed in terms of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Council Act, presidency spokesperson Mac Maharaj said in a statement.
The council provides guidance and monitoring on the state of BBBEE performance in the economy and it makes policy recommendations to help implement the transformation policy.
