Sarb to discuss concerns with Moody's

Johannesburg - The South African Reserve Bank will talk to rating agency Moody's about its concerns over the country, governor Gill Marcus said on Tuesday, after the agency last week lowered the outlook on the sovereign’s A3 rating.

However, Marcus noted that Moody's concerns were not related to the central bank and how it conducted monetary policy. She was speaking at a year-end event at a Switzerland-southern Africa business meeting.
