Sarb bank sentiment indicator rises

Johannesburg - The South African Reserve Bank's monthly leading business cycle indicator edged up 0.2% month-on-month in October, lifted by a rise in the number of residential building plans passed and an increase in average hours worked in the factory sector.

The indicator collates data such as vehicle sales, job advertisements, business confidence and money supply to gauge the economic outlook.
