Cape Town – Science and technology minister Naledi Pandor has called on Brazil and Russia to join the Brics click in its collaboration on the Square Kilometre Array project, as a funding model is yet to be finalised.
The SKA project is set to cost participating governments in excess of €1 500m and has resulted in lengthy negotiations how much countries involved should pay.
Pandor was speaking at a two-day science, technology and innovation ministerial meeting in Brazil with her Brics counterparts.
