Johannesburg - South Africa’s net gold and foreign exchange reserves stood at $44.775bn at the end of February from $44.451bn in January, data from the Reserve Bank showed on Monday.
Gross reserves increased to $47.311bn in February from $45.471bn, the Reserve Bank said in a statement posted on its website.
The forward position, which represents the bank’s unsettled spot or swap transactions, was at $4.051bn compared with $4.312bn in January.
