Johannesburg - The chief of the SA National Defence Force, General Godfrey Ngwenya, has been appointed SA's ambassador to Angola, the ministry of defence said on Tuesday.
"President Jacob Zuma has appointed Ngwenya as ambassador designate to the Republic of Angola," said ministerial spokesperson Siphiwe Dlamini.
The handover parade will take place in January 2011. Lieutenant General Themba Matanzima has been appointed acting chief of the SANDF.
