Cape Town – The Department of Science and Technology (DST) and its Sudanese counterpart have pooled over R4m in a bid to strengthen and build knowledge economies in its industrial communities.
DST spokesperson, Lunga Ngqengelele, told Fin24 that the funds will be spent to support joint bilateral research projects and high-impact socio-economic initiatives.
“The objectives of the agreement include promoting information and knowledge sharing about policies relating to research, technological development and innovation,” Ngqengelele said.
