Cape Town - The Minister in the Presidency for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, Collins Chabane, says he is delighted that the presidency, its department and agencies have successfully tabled annual reports to Parliament for the 2012/2013 financial year.
The presidency, the department for performance monitoring and evaluation, the government communication and information system, the media development and diversity agency, Brand South Africa and the national youth development agency have successfully submitted the reports as required by Parliament.
Chabane congratulated all departments and agencies for achieving unqualified audit opinions.
"I wish to single out the MDDA for this great achievement and hard work for receiving a clean audit report. I also wish to congratulate the Presidency, the DPME and all agencies for hard work throughout the year. We wish to see all departments achieving what the MDDA achieved” said Chabane.
The presidency's annual report depicts the achievements of the presidency for the year and also reviews some of the achievements of government.
Job creation
Chabane said that South Africa, under the leadership of the presidency, was moving in the right direction to eliminate poverty and reduce inequality. This was evident as the 2012/2013 financial year was reviewed.
