Cape Town - Passenger numbers are increasing at the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, an official said on Thursday.
Spokesperson Unathi Batyashe-Fillis said there had been an increase in local and international visitors making their way through the airport since the middle of December, getting ready for the festive season.
"Measures have been put in place to make sure that there is a smooth transition through our airport... ," she said.
Passengers should arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes early for domestic check-in and two-and-a-half hours early for international departures.
