Obama: World economy needs urgent action

2011-09-21 17:15

United Nations - US President Barack Obama told the United Nations on Wednesday that the world must take “urgent and coordinated” action to rescue the global economy.

“We stand with our European allies as they reshape their institutions and address their own fiscal challenge,” Obama said in a speech at the UN General Assembly. “For other countries, leaders face a different challenge as they shift their economies towards more self-reliance, boosting domestic demand while slowing inflation.”

This is typical of the US. They will not take responsibility for their own mess. They want to drag the rest of the world down with them. Here’s my suggestion to Pres. Obama. Stop waging unsolicited wars on foreign soil and you will have enough money to rescue your own economy.

Ok Obama, you cause all the trouble and then expect the world to sort it out? The world has suffered enough due to your Fed and it's incompetant Bernanke. Stop creating debt and we may all live a little better. What a let down of a president, after so much potential. All talk, no action.
