Windhoek - A fire that broke out at the product recovery plant of the Rio Tinto-owned Rossing Uranium mine in Namibia did not cause any uranium spill, the company confirmed on Saturday.
"There was also no uranium spill and no employees were injured during the fire," said managing director Werner Duvenhage in a statement.
"None of the final product already drummed and stored outside the Final Product Recovery (FPR) facility was affected.
