Lagos - The Nigerian stock exchange on Monday placed a two-week suspension on trading in the shares of five banks which received a $2.6bn bailout from the central bank on Friday.
The bourse said it was suspending trading in Afribank, Finbank, Intercontinental Bank, Oceanic Bank and Union Bank after the 400 billion naira rescue announced on Friday.
