Johannesburg - South Africa's net gold and foreign exchange reserves fell to $41.923bn in February from $42.145bn in January, data from the Reserve Bank showed on Friday.
Gross reserves were also down slightly at $47.19bn from $47.611bn, while the forward position, which represents the central bank's unsettled or swap transactions, rose to $2.771bn from $2.632bn.
