Cape Town - Cabinet members will provide inputs into Minister of Presidency Trevor Manuel’s National Development Plan and finalise it at the annual Lekgotla in August.
Cabinet spokesperson Jimmy Manyi said at a press briefing on Thursday that government’s highest decision-making body had "noted" the contents of the plan.
Manuel released the draft of the plan in November last year, with the aim of creating a vision for the country up to the year 2030.
Manyi said Manuel went to cabinet on a periodic basis to provide input on the development of the plan.
