Johannesburg - South Africa has yet to emerge from the global financial crisis and the impact of the downturn has had ramifications across society, South African Reserve Bank (Sarb) governor Gill Marcus said on Wednesday.
"What I would want to emphasize is that when we look at this global crisis... to recognise that behind the statistics and the numbers, it's about ordinary people whose lives have been fundamentally affected," she said at a women in banking and capital markets seminar.
