Johannesburg - Numsa said on Tuesday it would take the "latest" wage offer from the main employers' group to its engineering and metals members on Wednesday, possibly ending a week-old stoppage that had hit vehicle manufacturers.
"These regional meetings are intended to bring striking Numsa members on board with respect to the latest offers from the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of SA (Seifsa) and to obtain mandates with respect to what should constitute a resolution of the industry strike," it said in a statement.
Numsa did not elaborate on details of the offer.
