Johannesburg - Members of the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu) will decide on whether to strike at operations of gold companies at a mass meeting on Sunday, a spokesperson said on Monday.
"We have a certificate to strike at each company. We want to allow our members to decide," said Manzini Zungu.
The hardline union, which led a five-month strike in the platinum industry, received the right to strike after pay talks collapsed with AngloGold Ashanti, Sibanye Gold and Harmony Gold last week.
