Johannesburg - South Africa's inflation expectations were unchanged at 6.1% in the first quarter of the year compared with the previous three months, a survey by the Bureau for Economic Research (BER) showed on Monday.
However, the BER, which conducts the quarterly survey on behalf of the South African Reserve Bank, said the 2013 inflation estimate had climbed by 0.1 percentage point to 6.1%.
For 2014, the survey predicted inflation at upper end of the central bank's target of 3-6%.
