Athens - Cash-strapped Greece made a loan repayment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Monday as it embarked on the second week of technical discussions with its international lenders on a new batch of economic reforms.
Officials from the Finance Ministry said it made a €588m payment to the IMF. An additional installment of €336m is expected on March 20.
Greece and its creditors launched a new round of negotiations last week on the type of reforms the country will have to implement in return for further bailout aid.
