Gordhan: No immediate risk from NHI

Cape Town - The implementation of the proposed national health insurance is a long-term project and there is no need to worry about its impact on the budget in the short term, Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan said on Wednesday.

“The is no immediate risk of a fiscally unsustainable process emerging,” Gordhan told members of parliament.
