Johannesburg - Gautrain train drivers and some station staff belonging to the United Transport and Allied Trade Union (Utata) will go on strike, Bombela Concession Company said on Friday.
The workers would strike on Monday, Bombela operations executive Errol Braithwaite said.
"Engagements are, however, continuing with a view to averting the possibility of a strike and preventing any disruptions to Gautrain services," Braithwaite said.
Gautrain bus services would be unaffected in the strike.
Braithwaite said more details pertaining to the strike would be released soon.
