Johannesburg -The strike in the fuel sector is over, Solidarity said on Thursday.
"Yes, the agreement was signed today," said deputy general secretary Dirk Hermann.
Workers agreed to the employers' offer of an 8.5% increase across the board and a 10% rise for the lowest paid, he said.
The strike lasted over two weeks and saw many fuel pumps in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal running dry.
The Chemical, Energy, Paper, Printing, Wood and Allied Workers Union, the General Industries Workers Union of SA, the SA Chemical Workers Union and Solidarity were demanding an 11% wage increase and a 40-hour working week.
