Johannesburg - The French government's agency for development Agence Francaise de Developpement said on Wednesday it will sign over a loan of €200m to South Africa's Transnet for its expansion programme at the port of Cape Town's container terminal.
The state-owned freight company needs R80bn to finance its investment programme over the next few years and has said it has managed to raise 90% or R13bn of the funding required for this year.
