Cape Town - The Financial Services Board (FSB) announced on Friday in a statement that chief financial officer Dawood Seedat resigned with immediate effect.
“This follows corruption allegations that have been levelled against him in his personal capacity.”
The FSB said that it is looking into the allegations to ascertain if it has had any impact on Seedat’s employment relationship.
Seedat, who also worked at the South Africa Revenue Services and for the National Prosecuting Authority, joined the FSB in 2006.
