Greek lawmakers have approved a new round of drastic austerity measures after a long day of street battles between police and protesters left dozens injured.
Johannesburg - Anglo Platinum, the world's largest platinum producer, on Tuesday said that it has appointed Bongani Nqwababa as its new CFO.
The news comes just hours after news of Nqwababa's resignation from his position as CFO of South African power utility Eskom was released.
While the state-owned utility has not confirmed the resignation, Anglo Platinum released announcement to the JSE informing the market of Nqwababa's move.
Nqwababa also joins Anglo Platinum's board as an executive director.
"Nqwababa will join the company in January 2009," Anglo Platinum said.
