Molefe said the selection of the committee formed part of the utility’s “commitment to further stabilise and strengthen Eskom’s leadership”.
In March, Eskom’s former chairperson Zola Tsotsi placed four senior executives, including former CEO Tshediso Matona, on suspension when he announced an inquiry into the utility.
The other three executives included chief financial officer Tsholofelo Molefe, group executive group capital Dan Marokane, and group executive technology and commercial Matshela Koko.
The first two positions will be filled by Anoj Singh and Abram Masango respectively.
Matshela Koko who has since been reinstated was appointed as group executive for generation.
Spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe told Fin24 that the suspended Matona, Molefe, and Marokane decided to voluntarily leave Eskom before the conclusion of the inquiry.
Eskom has had over two months without load shedding.
