Cairo - Egypt's newly appointed Finance Minister Hany Kadry Dimian said on Wednesday the state's budget deficit for fiscal year 2013/14 will be around 12%.
"In best conditions it will be around 11% to 12% and leans more to more than 12%," Dimian told reporters.
Egypt's economy has been hammered by three years of turmoil that followed a 2011 uprising that toppled President Hosni Mubarak.
