Durban businessman killed

Johannesburg - Durban businessman Kevin Launspach was killed in front of his wife and sister in Moseley Park, the Independent Online (IOL) reported on Friday.

Three armed men shot Launspach, 37, during a robbery while he was parked in the driveway of his sister's house in Glen Place on Thursday night.

According to the website, the men drove up to Launspach's car, stopped and got out with guns.

They ordered Launspach's brother-in-law to lie on the floor and robbed his wife and sister of their handbags. One of the men shot Launspach and drove off in the car they arrived in.

Launspach's brother-in-law drove him to the hospital, but he died on the way.

He owned the Log Coffee & Cocktail Lounge in Queensburgh.
