Johannesburg - A protest against high toll fees will be held at the Swartruggens Plaza on the N4 in North West, Cosatu said on Monday.
Congress of SA Trade Unions provincial secretary Solly Phetoe said the protest was planned for Saturday.
"We are going back on August 11, 2012 [Saturday]. This time it will be a public mass meeting right at the toll gate, demanding action by our own government."
Phetoe said Cosatu wanted the payment of R71 in tolls to be suspended until a solution was found which represented the views of poor people in North West.
He said Cosatu launched a campaign six months ago calling for the toll fee at the Swartruggens Plaza to be reduced to R20.
