Johannesburg - Three former labour department employees
accused of defrauding the compensation fund of R3.8m are to appear in the
Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Tuesday.
Maxwell Ramaphosa, Samuel Mfeleng and Jurry Sehunoe would
appear on 22 counts of fraud and 28 counts of money laundering.
They allegedly defrauded the fund by changing the personal
details of claimants and channelling payments into assumed accounts. They also
allegedly laundered over R860 000.
They were out on bail of R3 000 each.
