Greek lawmakers have approved a new round of drastic austerity measures after a long day of street battles between police and protesters left dozens injured.
Johannesburg - South African power utility Eskom said on Thursday the build-up of its coal stocks is slower than anticipated.
"It is actually slower than anticipated," Eskom chief executive officer Jacob Maroga said at a presentation in Johannesburg.
Maroga added that power stations had an average of 18 days of coal stockpiles, slightly below the 20 days of reserves the utility wanted as it headed into the winter months, when electricity use in South Africa tends to jump.
