Cape Town - Hiccups in feeding power from co-generation projects into the national grid were being addressed, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa told MPs on Wednesday.
Responding to concerns from Inkatha Freedom Party MP Narend Singh that independent power producers were encountering difficulties selling their power to the grid.
"The inability of Eskom to connect with IPPs (independent power producers) is a matter being resolved," he said, noting that power was already being generated near Durban in KwaZulu Natal and at Coega in the Eastern Cape.
