A Fin24 user has worked out a plan to pay off her debts. She writes:
I am currently trying to pay off my debts; it really isn't easy. Yes, I am a big spender and love clothes.
My first step was to get my credit report. That's where I got to see what is it that I still owe, and what things I can finish paying off.
I have learnt that I still have debts that I "abandoned". They still exist. I am trying by all means to do what's right.
I pray that I finish paying off all these debts. It's really not nice to go home and hide the phone, just because we are running away from debts.
I have written all mine down, I have their contact numbers. Each month I make sure I close one or half of it, or make an arrangement.
I wish everyone could be more careful about debt, it's really a prison!
