Fin24 earlier reported that some local property companies found holiday makers - both local and international - were prepared to pay up to R100 000 a night to stay in platinum level villas along premium spots in Cape Town this festive season.

Among the exclusive properties situated along the Mother City's Atlantic Seaboard, we managed to get a peek inside a prestigious Clifton residence that obtained in the region of R120 000 to R150 000 a night during the past holiday season, according to Keegan Lewis, CEO of LVCT Group, a luxury property marketing and management company, which specialises in luxury villa rentals.

The mansion is part of a portfolio of luxury properties which are managed by LVCT Group. The company offers a niche portfolio of luxury properties at fluctuating price points.

Among the exclusive features of the particular Clifton residence that fetched rental income of between R120 000 and R150 000 a day, are a residential cinema, gym, spa, in-house massage room, superior architecture and finishing.

Additional services are available when renting the villa. The service offering would range from an in-house Cordon Bleu chef, butler and chauffeur, all the way through to masseurs and close protection services.
