One & Only The Palm

Offering a blissful sense of peace, this impressive property is immediately calming, with blues, creams and mother of pearl throughout. The resort offers a range of accommodation, including rooms in the main hotel, beachfront villas and ‘mansions’ boasting private pools.

Acclaimed chef Yannick Alleno has a restaurant at the hotel, serving whimsical world-class French cuisine. The spa offers relaxing treatments as well as a studio by Bastien Gonzalez, a global expert in manicures and pedicures.

Four Seasons Dubai Jumeirah Resort

A rare beachfront hotel in Dubai’s Jumeirah neighbourhood, the Four Seasons has a choice of romantic restaurants, including Jean Georges Dining Room for fine dining from the Michelin-starred chef, Peruvian cuisine at Coya and Asian-influenced seafood served up next to the beach at Sea Fu.

Jumeirah Al Qasr

Al Qasr means ‘the palace’ in Arabic and it does justice to its name when it comes to luxury. Guests are greeted by a parade of golden horses as they approach the lobby.

Rooms have views of the Madinat Jumeirah waterways, lush gardens and the Arabian Gulf, and are decorated with traditional motifs, dark carved woods and rich fabrics.

The Palace Downtown

With a front-row view of the Dubai Fountains and Burj Khalifa, The Palace manages to be close to the action while still offering a secluded resort feel.

For dining, Argentine restaurant Asado is the perfect date destination, or enjoy Thai cuisine at Thiptara on a wraparound terrace close to the water.

Vida Downtown

A boutique hotel in Downtown Dubai, a short walk from The Dubai Mall, four-star Vida is full of little touches to make your stay special. The whole hotel has a chic urban feel, from floral sculptures in the lobby to the hip staff.

The rooms have smart technology, and when it comes to dining there’s a popular picnic-style poolside brunch on Fridays, or La Serre with its boulangerie downstairs and bistro above.

The hotel can also arrange a private dinner on the sand should you want a truly romantic evening.
