New supercar club launched

Cape Town - After years of operational success in South Africa, IBV Supercar Club, one of the world’s largest international supercar clubs, has launched in Dubai.

It is the first of its kind in the region. Individual car clubs usually tend to target merely enthusiasts of the one brand. In a break from this tradition, IBV Supercar Club aims to bring together all types of supercars and their owners.

“We are very excited to be launching the IBV Supercar Club in Dubai. It is our vision to bring world class supercar experiences and events to Dubai’s supercar elite," said IBV Supercar Club founder and president Ashok Sewnarain at the launch.

The IBV Supercar Club – also a division IBV Bank Vaults – is expanding internationally - not only in Dubai but also in Switzerland.

While the attendance at supercar runs, gala balls and exclusive networking events are all perks for members, IBV Supercar Club organisers also explore different ways to give back to the community.

“Philanthropy is something that is important to the IBV Supercar Club and as such Dubai can expect record breaking supercar charity parades that will help raise funds for those who are less fortunate in this city,” said Sewnarain.

“This cosmopolitan city which glitters in gold and luxury already has a thriving passion for exotic automobiles. We aim to bring together luxury car enthusiasts and offer an unrivalled, curated community - expect fast cars, high life events and more.”
