Cape Town - Lufthansa passengers can now fly directly from Frankfurt to the long-haul destinations of Cancún in Mexico, Malé in the Maldives and to Mauritius.
Cancún, Malé and Mauritius are just three of several new holiday destinations Lufthansa has added to its network in the last few months, with Tampa in Florida and Nairobi in Kenya being added in late September and late October respectively. In March 2016, flights to Panama City in Panama will begin.
Lufthansa has also recently launched Lufthansa Express Carsharing throughout Europe. In cooperation with the worldwide operating carsharing company car2go, Lufthansa passengers get preferential conditions when using the car2go service, to be launched in Germany at Berlin-Schönefeld, Berlin-Tegel, Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart Airports.
The first European airports to offer the carsharing service will include Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Madrid, Stockholm and Vienna, as well as the Italian destinations of Florence, Milan, Rome and Turin.
