AAA Entertainment launching SA content in Cannes

Cape Town - AAA Entertainment is gearing up for their third annual presence at the Cannes International Film Festival’s Marche du Film market.

AAA Entertainment and US based Koan Inc will be co-hosting a stand in the Riviera this year and are looking at working together on a slate of projects as executive producers and sales agents.
 
One of the projects AAA Entertainment and Koan Inc will be collaborating on, is Sjambok, an international feature film produced by Susan Douglass and Nigel Wooll, producer of major blockbusters including GI Jane, Patriot Games and Miss Potter.  

AAA Entertainment will be co-producing and seeking additional financing in Cannes for this feature, written and directed by South African Rudolf Buitendach. The film will have a top international cast, through the film's casting partners and executive producers Brillstein Entertainment, alongside established SA veteran actors, and is set to start production in 2017.

We are also excited to be working so closely with our new international partners and bring the world’s attention to South Africa as a shooting destination and the stories we have to tell,” said AAA Entertainment's head of sales Pascal Schmitz.
