Johannesburg - Sun International [JSE:SUI] on Monday
announced the appointment of Anthony Michael Leeming as the Chief Financial
Officer and an executive director of Sun International with effect from 1
March.
This follows the departure of Robert Becker‚ who by way of
mutual agreement with the company‚ will step down as CFO and executive director
with effect from 28 February.
Becker will be leaving the group in order to pursue his
career aspirations‚ having completed 8 years of service as CFO of Sun
International‚ the company said.
Leeming has over 13 years' experience in the hotels‚ resorts
and gaming industries having joined Sun International in 1999 as the Group Financial
Manager.
He was appointed as a director of Sun International Management Limited
on 1 July 2009‚ with responsibility for the group's corporate finance and debt
funding and has been integrally involved in all aspects of the group's
financial affairs.
