Johannesburg - Cape Town flights returned to normal on
Monday after an ash cloud created by a volcanic eruption in Chile halted air
travel at the weekend, said Western Cape Tourism Minister Alan Winde.
Thirteen departing flights and 12 arriving flights were
affected at Cape Town International Airport.
"Currently there are no active warnings relating to the ash cloud; however, the relevant authorities are monitoring the situation closely in the event of any alerts," Winde said.
