Johannesburg - Australian airline Qantas has grounded all flights until further notice, due to a protracted labour dispute in a move which may impact SA Airways, the Sunday Times reported.

SAA offers three flights a week to Sydney which are operated by Qantas in terms of a code-sharing agreement.

SAA spokesperson Dileseng Koetle told the paper not all flights would be affected, and that SAA would continue to monitor the situation.

Flights to Perth would continue but connecting flights within Australia were likely to be disrupted, the paper reported.

Qantas is providing a full refund for any flights cancelled due to industrial action, according to a statement on its website, but it said codeshare flights were still operating.

Acsa spokesperson Solomon Makgale was not immediately available for comment.
