Johannesburg - South Africa’s aviation industry has a new place to go for information, services, human resources and all things aviation-related - SA Aviation.
An integrated platform - encompassing a printed and e-magazine, website and services including flight services, aircraft management, quality and safety management systems and aviation career guidance.
"The rapid growth of the aviation industry and need for merging of critical skills is what inspired the SA Aviation team to create this platform. Our research has shown that there is a growing demand for a credible network that aviators, industry players and the public can tap into for information, skills and services."
He said the company has a large database of qualified safety officers and quality managers whose services are offered to charter companies and airlines.
"We also have a growing network of experienced pilots and skilled maintenance engineers whose services can also be accessed through SA Aviation," he said.
"Essentially, we aim to optimise the standards of safety and services provided in the industry by providing companies with a meeting place to engage with appropriately qualified and skilled resources."
The founders of SA Aviation are director and CEO Emile Oosthuizen and director Noko Rasafate. Together, they have 12 years combined experience in the aviation industry.
