Eskom execs escape injury after crash

Johannesburg - Eskom CEO Brian Dames and three Eskom executives are unharmed after they were involved in a helicopter accident near Groblersdal this morning.

Eskom spokesperson Hilary Joffe says the helicopter was a chartered helicopter.

“No one was hospitalised.”

Dames was travelling with Eskom divisional executive Steve Lennon, acting divisional executive Louis Maleka, a senior manager and two pilots.

A thorough investigation will be conducted.
