Cape Town - South African state-owned rail and logistics group Transnet will launch a medium-term note programme next month and expects to issue bonds in the US and Europe in 2010, acting Chief Executive Officer Chris Wells said on Friday.
"Transnet will launch its Global Medium-Term Note programme, to enable the company to raise bonds in Europe and the US, next month. The company expects to start tapping this programme in the next calendar year," Wells said in a statement.
