Johannesburg - Oceana Group [JSE:OCE] advised Monday that
its headline earnings per share for the year ended September 2011 are expected
to be between 3% and 8% higher than the comparative figure for the year ended
September 2010.
Earnings per share are expected to be between 10% and 15%
higher than a year ago.
The company expects to release its results or about 10
November.
Oceana also advised that it has entered into negotiations,
which if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of its
securities.
Shareholders were advised to exercise caution when dealing
in the company's securities until a further announcement is made.
Oceana shares rose more than 3% after the company said it expects full-year headline earnings per share to rise by as much as 8%.
The company also gave a cautionary that it has entered into
talks.
The shares were up 3.57% at R43.50.
