Johannesburg - Italtile, a leading SA retailer of tiles, sanitaryware and bathroom accessories, confirmed on Wednesday morning that its CEO Gianpaolo Ravazzotti and eight other colleagues were killed in a plane crash.
Its board said a succession plan would be announced "in due course".
The wreckage of the plane was found on Wednesday in the Robberg area and the bodies of all of the passengers have been found, it said.
"A full investigation is under way to determine the cause of the crash," the firm said.
The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) on Wednesday confirmed the location of the wreckage.
"The wreckage was located just off shore of the Robberg Nature Reserve," NSRI spokesperson Craig Lambinon told Sapa.
The other victims of the crash were Gia Celori (Italtile), Marilize Compion (Italtile), Sava Di Bella (Prima Bella Bathroom Accessories), Simon Hirschberg (Grainwave), Jody Jansen van Rensburg (CTM Alberton), Aletsia Krause (Italtile), Bronwyn Parsons (pilot, Italtile), and Alison van Staden (co-pilot).
